βοΈ Your Solar, in 3 Steps
Tell us about your solar panels and where you are β we estimate the clean electricity you make, the COβ you avoid, and what that could one day be worth. Shown as a range, never a made-up exact number.
β‘ Electricity made
β
π± COβ avoided
β
This is the amount of greenhouse gas your clean electricity stops from being released (versus the diesel or grid it replaces).
π° Potential value
β
An illustrative range from today's carbon price β not guaranteed money. Other green-energy perks could add to it.
How is this calculated? (explainable in 1 minute)
- Electricity = panel power (kW) Γ sunlight at your location (NASA POWER, free data) Γ efficiency. Sunlight varies by month β that's the bar chart.
- COβ avoided = electricity Γ the carbon of what it replaces (diesel β 0.8 kg/kWh, grid β 0.3 kg/kWh).
- Potential value = tonnes of COβ Γ a carbon price (roughly US$5β15 per tonne).
This is a concept / demo site β a promise of what's possible, not a working carbon-credit system. Real output depends on weather, dust, shading & wiring. We measure honestly; claiming carbon credits is a separate, more regulated step.
π Verify it with your real inverter log
Got a day's (or month's) log from your solar system? Upload it and we read the real number, then compare it against our estimate. This is the honest part β a real check, not a guess.
